My kids love this stuff, every time there is one we stop. Same things as San Antonio's and others but still so fun. I wouldn't pay the individual price. Make sure you buy the multi-Ripley's attraction ticket!

I was so worried. In a town of Ripley's everything this would be second rate. NO WAY! This was fantastic! So worth the stop. It took us 2-3 hours but we could have spent a couple more hours if we wanted to or got the penguin experience! The shark tunnel is awesome!

Okay. Tired family? Hiking the Smokies, the excitement of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg has the kids all riled up? Take a short drive for an adorable day! How fun from duke's dog house to how much you weigh in beans. Did you know the bacon in the can doesn't do anything but it's there because of customer demand! Totally worth the trip!

So much fun. The pool alone is a huge highlight for kids. We had an outside room door! We prefer that at a nicer hotel for unloading during a long road trip! The check in staff could have been nicer but it was a nice stay. Easy to walk to the main drag!

Mountain and folk music lovers this is heaven. Even if you're not this is an unforgettable experience. This is pure back roads country love. The drive here alone is a travel back in time (from Abington, VA is how we traveled here). The trip back was one of the darkest roads I have ever driven on. The music was fun and upbeat, history and music collided! From toddlers to old timers, everyone danced. They sell basic popcorn/chip snacks and canned sodas, maybe hotdogs. The heat of the day gave way to a cool night breeze through the sides that opened on the building. The gift shop of old music and tshirt took credit card but those snacks and new artists selling their music only take cash!! We enjoyed ourselves so much!

Adorable museum. Filled with lots of history! We were visiting folks that lives in the area and was worth the stop. My kids love an old country song and the dance auditorium and recording studio was their fave.

It's the Smoky Mountains! I would say, take the gravel/dirt unmarked roads! They were our best adventures. Give yourself time, getting anywhere takes time! We quickly found our passion, finding the cemeteries. Up on a very steep gravel unmarked road we found a school house and a women dressed in pioneer type clothing. She was telling about the school but was super knowledgeable about the park altogether. There are more than 150 notes cemeteries in the Smokies. We found 12! Neat scavenger hunt!

From many reviews I was ready for a dingy sadly put together place but as a child of the 80s I had to make my pilgrimage! WHOA WAS I WRONG. this place is adorable, clean, bright fresh! The talking & birthing tree, not creepy, kind of sweet! And a great background story! The grounds were beautiful and sitting in a rocker on a Georgian plantation home on a breezy summer day was great! If you are like me and your mother waiting in line for hours for a cabbage patch, bring it! They get a cute little VIP visitors badge! In reality the whole place is a big store but it was so worth the stop for us!

So this is worth the photo alone I think BUT. AND THIS IS A HUGE BUT, you are In one of the best state parks while doing this! So glad we stopped more for the park! amicalola falls park! Get your tennis shoes on and get ready for stairs (if you want you can drive too! So don't worry about that!). The falls landings were an easy walk but if you want to do the crazy stairs! Do it!

So much fun! Awesome stop to spend the half the day! Lots to do and see! Careful the gift shop! Whoa$$$$. The cafeteria was nice but we had no idea we arrived on a space camp drop off day, because of that the place was a zoo. Very similar (obviously) to Houston, some of the same exhibits.
