Kids and mom and dad had a blast. 7 yr old absolutely loved playing dodgeball on the tramps. Watching mommy try to get out of the foam pit was fun too! But the most talked about event was dad's impressive dunk on the highest rim....then the subsequent crash where the attendant asked if I was still alive. Haha great fun! Just be sure you are the actual parent or legal guardian of the minor. Aunts and uncles can't sign off on the waiver. Have fun!
For the best view, go at night to the farthest pillar on the right, good view of Washington monument in reflecting pool with the Capitol building in full view. The mall is two miles from Lincoln to the Capitol. So be prepared to walk!
Kids had so much fun here leaving their mark. Unbelievable Amy of trash here. We passed on one can of paint to others and found a few plastic bags laying around and filled them with the garbage others had left behind. Everyone saw the kids picking up trash and commented on how nice that was. We suggested they do the same and were bewildered to see them walk out empty handed. They have two dumpsters there for your convenience.

A great spot for the kids and adults. Unlike most science centers this place doesn't focus on physics and technology. Exhibits are wonderfully kid friendly and interactive! Inexpensive to boot! We will be visiting again when in the area. It looks like they have lots of room for expansion and are adding new exhibits all the time.
