Nice little gem for a picnic or overnight camping, it is located just a few miles north of Mexican Hat off of Highway 163. Fantastic views for miles and below of the San Juan River. Pit toilets only no water or showers available.Camping is $10/ night day pass is $5.
Fantastic star gazing at night, no hiking or bike trails here, hiking is available at nearby Honaker Trail. It gets intensely hot in summer and there is no shade except at the covered picnic tables fire pits with a grate are available. Definitely worth a brief stop for the views and photos if nothing else.
