Magical campground
Small museum but if you are interested in western migration, this stop is a must.
Great concrete pads for each site on lovely little lake with swimming. Easy on and off.
Best part of this park is the “The Hanger” which is just behind the park. Remodeled early 20th century and recently been remodeled. Great food all day. Bounce house. Great bar. Creative architecture.
Very interesting reconstruction of prairie fort and the hardship of western emigration. This was also a main crossing so there were ferries and even a bridge. American entrepreneurs!
Eric and Nate were great. They were full of interesting information about the area and the wildlife. If felt like we were on a family trip. Lunch was good. We saw a number of bald eagles, a moose, pelicans, Canadian geese, osprey. Lots of fun. You can’t go wrong booking with them.
