The bird park is an interesting visit. The birds are plentiful, many from around the world. They appear to be healthy and well cared for. You can also get up close to many of the birds in the different enclosures. While a varied and interesting array of plants the grounds need maintenance. Overall it is worth the visit. I would recommend checking out the old Episcopal Church and cemetery adjacent to the bird park.

We just drove by and couldn’t find the house/liquor store. Not sure it still exists.
