This was a small sculpture garden but we are glad we stopped. We enjoyed it. It took about 20 minutes to walk around it. It's not huge but we both feel it is worth the trip.

We learned of this by accident during a cross country trip and decided to stop by. We are SO glad we did! We felt the park and sculptures were exceedingly well done and enjoyed ourselves a great deal. Yes, there is a busy street between the two blocks of the garden but there actually IS a crosswalk at the traffic light. The sign states that at the time of establishment (2008), it was the largest outdoor juried artist sculpture show in the United States. It says it is recognized as “one of the most unique sculptural gardens in the country”. We believe it. Truthfully, we were amazed at how long the trail was for the garden. There is much to see here.

Our GPS took us to a very nice housing area below the “keyhole” in the Devil’s Backbone and there was no access for visitors, only neighborhood residents. We finally found someone to ask and learned to access the trailhead, we had to take Hidden Valley Drive off Eisenhower Blvd (Highway 34) near Loveland. The signs off the highway were small and easy to miss. The actual address is 1725 Hidden Valley Drive. There is a $10 usage fee at the trailhead. We were traveling and didn’t have a ton of time so we only went to the “keyhole” which was an interesting geological feature, as it’s the entire “backbone”. There are also estroom facilities there at the trailhead.
