There are two roads in, one dirt and one paved. Both are rough going. I rode in on the paved route. It was rough, lots of potholes and bumps you can't avoid, but it was gorgeous, there's a section that comes down into a ravine with a few cottonwoods that's just magical. The town still has a few residents who still use the old church, which is gorgeous with the old wood. If you're in the area, definitely worth the detour, no matter how rough.
