Great homestyle cooking, especially with their fried chicken, but their breakfast is my favorite thing here.
Really interesting area to check out, especially in the summertime. The Farmers Market they have here is great, and there's plenty within walking distance.
Excellent food. The buffalo chicken egg rolls are the perfect appetizer to start. They have a really cool space, which used to be bank, and despite being a place you could take a date, is casual enough that it's not stuffy.
Pretty good sports bar, all things considered. The food is what you'd expect from an Irish pub, fish and chips, burgers, etc. The beer is what sets them apart, and they have tons of options on draft. It gets crowded around the bar area for sporting events, but it's a pretty lively place to watch a game.
My favorite place in Oakley. Always pretty laid back, especially compared to the places around it, and has the best food of the places around there. Standard bar fare, but they have above average burgers and wraps. Great tap selection, too.
A Roadtrippers staple. Their pizza with vodka sauce is one of a kind, and should be at the top of any order.
It's a nice spot outside of the normal craziness of the brOTR bars. They always have TVs on, and they're unique in that their food options are centered around sausage and pretzels. Interesting spot. I'd go there more often if they did the same thing they do at their Lager House and offer beers from other breweries, but that's really the only downside.
Really interesting menu, try the chicken and waffles. Despite a hiccup with our order, they made up for it with really great customer service.
If you're on the fence about this place, just go. It's in a small space but has plenty of old furniture that gives the place a lot of character. They had 32 beers on draft when I went, and the six I tried (through flights, not individual pints) were all fantastic and unique. My favorite was a rhubarb ale that they had, with a close second being a peach green tea IPA. Definitely not your average place, and that's a good thing.
We tried their breakfast and lunch, and it didn't disappoint. Their cold brew coffee on nitro is the star of the show, though. It's coffee that goes down like a cold Guinness. Must-try.
