My grandson wanted to stop by the Coca Cola Store in Atlanta. My parents said that we should bypass it since it wasn't anything special. We went ahead and went as to not disappoint my grandson. We were not disappointed. He had a great time there. The only drawback is it does get VERY crowded and they are set up for "crowd control' by limiting the number of people going in to the place. I would recommend going first thing when they open up since it gets packed by 11 AM...doesn't matter if it's a weekday in the summer months, either. You do feel like they hold you a bit of a "hostage" in some of their exhibits but all in all it was very interesting and the tasting room was incredible! We enjoyed the visit!

We went out of our way to go to this particular mine since it received such great reviews. We were not disappointed. In fact, we were LATE getting there and even though they have to cut off panning for minerals at 4:15 (since they close at 5 PM), they allowed my grandson to go ahead a pan. He had a great time and walked away with some good sized pieces of sapphire and rubies. There are plenty of road signs to lead you to the mine. A very cute set up and we would definitely go back again but this time spend half a day there.

Very quaint, small downtown square with a little water "park" for little kids. The toilets were clean and fun. If you are potty shy you may have a problem going with so many people outside. LOL!
