We arrived at 9:30 PM and we were greeted by such a friendly receptionist. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was good. The morning receptionist was also pleasant and very approachable. I would happily stay here again
They are the only Hotel in Sparta and it shows. Check in was at 3:00, We got there at 3:30 and our room wasn't done. It wasn't too long a wait after though. Our refrigerator appeared to have been frozen and thawed out and had black stuff in the back. The toilet was super hard to flush. Other than those two things, the room was clean and the beds nice. The reason we chose this hotel and not one closer to the Ark Encounter was for the pool. The pool was cloudy and the staff wasn't super concerned with keeping towels in the pool area. The hot tub temp. couldn't be adjusted and wasn't hot. The breakfast was good and the lady who ran the bistro was super nice. Overall, I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism in the front desk. I hope another hotel comes to Sparta....perhaps the competition would encourage this Ramada to up it's game.
