Ashley and her mom were very gracious hosts. The farm is just off Hwy 101 and we had no problem finding it with the directions we were given. There is some road noise but that didn't bother us. Ashley also let us pick some Rainier cherries from the trees in their yard.

Lake Louisa is a 4500 acre park located in Central Florida. There are a lot of hiking trails, biking trails and equestrian trails. There are 3 lakes within the park. Campsites are gravel and most are level and the bath houses were clean and looked fairly new. This park is a birders paradise. We stayed here in February and temperatures were great but this park would be brutally hot in the summer. The only ding for this park is the road noise from US 27.

A small state park just north of Okeechobee with 20 campsites. Without a doubt, the quietest campground we have ever stayed at. We saw turkey, deer, hogs and tons of birds. The road leading into the park is dirt and can get extremely rough after a rain. Restrooms are clean. The sites are fairly large and level. If you forget something, Okeechobee is a 30 minute drive.

We stayed here for 7 nights and loved it. Majority of the campsites are under a heavy canopy of trees. WIFI is available at the Visitor Center and Verizon coverage was barely usable at the campsite. When checking in, I asked if they had any 50 amp hookups and they do (although they do not advertise this). Sites 4 thru 12, 14 and 18 have 50 amp. The bathrooms could use some TLC.
