The location of the Omni was convenient to the mountains, and the pool was lovely, but the hotel is experiencing some staffing and maintenance issues. The out of service list included (at some point during a 3 night stay): 3/4 broken elevators, 1 pool, the ice machine on our floor, and the turnstile door at the front. We ordered light dishes from The Tap Room one evening and were told it’d be a 20 minute wait. After 80 minutes, our food hadn’t come and we received no update or recognition of this.
Beware of hidden fees. We booked the room with a full payment for all nights in advance (including the daily destination fee). We were billed an additional $300+, including a separate “Stay Rate,” doubled destination fees, and “Room Charges” that did not add up to what we incurred. This soured the whole experience, and feels incredibly predatory. Why not disclose fees up front instead of deceiving guests?
