I forgot to mention on the above review that this site has a wonderful campground ideal for travelers traveling Hwy 12 between Bryce Canyon & Capitol Reef National Parks. Ara

This was such a beautiful place to stop and relax. The setting was so peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery and calming Calf Creek. The hike was stunning to the falls. Easy to moderate & yes a sandy trail made it a bit annoying but at the end of the trailhead was the perfect oasis. Cool calming mist from the waterfall cooled everyone off. Bring a towel & swim suit if you plan on enjoying the beach. Hiking the trail between the soaring cliffs was breathtaking. Be sure to stop at marker #8 to see the ancient Anastazi pictograph. (Pick up trail guide at the trailhead). This is a hike that will remain as one of your top 10.
