The sequoia trees are very pretty, durable, and mammoth! Not as crowded as some of the other parks we have been to, we still couldn’t enjoy a good hike due to a cranky kiddo. Although you can’t stand right next to General Sherman, there are plenty of other behemoth trees for photo ops!

This park also connects to King’s Canyon NP via Sequoia Natl Forest. Recommend both

Unfortunately we were not allowed in because we had a legal, dissembled and packed away fire arm. It was to be the end of our epic road trip before heading home...but alas. I’ll have to continue to live vicariously through my grandparents pictures because you still can’t even catch a glimpse as you drive East over the Pat Tillman bridge—they built up the barrier too high.
