Oh my, this looks interesting!
The Okoboji Country Inn is located in the heart of lake activity and the well-known, if not famous, Mid-west family amusement park, Arnolds Park. And, if you are a golfer, you're going to love the action across the highway from the inn at the Emerald Hills Golf Course.
The inn itself is a restored historical farm house from the local area. Innkeepers, Donna and Ann Muilenburg, spent almost a year, and spared no cost in the remodel from a farm house to a luxury bed and breakfast. When it came to luxurious linens, outstanding decor, and quality furnishings, they put their years of decorating experience to work. The living room is inviting and I love it that the sheets are a high-count Egyptian Cotton and as soft as you will find in the most expensive hotels.
Annabelle's Suite, located on the first floor, is my favorite room at the inn. It has its own sun room where you can lounge in in PJs and just enjoy the beauty of the sun setting or rising.
You can't beat the breakfast, fresh ingredients and delicious. And, the innkeepers are helpful and as nice as they come. I highly recommend this outstanding bed and breakfast lodging establishment.
