Check the water conditions before going. My kids were disappointed because the lake is in the middle of a toxic algae bloom. The swimming area looked nice with lots of picnic tables and access to the water, however it doesn’t have a very nice play structure. What is there is small and old. namely a very hot metal slide. overall we were unpleased with our experience there. you also have to pay to get in.
