Ghost town sounds awesome right? Well this is not a ghost town at all. It’s a child’s amusement park/tourist trap. None of the buildings are original, there’s one “history” building that has some
Old furniture and very little description and everything is an additional fee.
If you have children under 10 go for it.
Otherwise save your $10 per person entrance fee.
Husband is a WV bug enthusiast. This was a nice quick stop 15 or so minutes. There’s 6 WV beetles dug into the ground and graffitied similar to Cadillac ranch. Worth the stop for us!
We went in May. It’s 85 degrees out and the water was chilly. It’s beautiful crisp blue water. Very small hole - but it is exactly what it claims to be: a blue hole. I did jump in (couldn’t go all that way and not do it). Worth the stop for me.
