Gentleman named "MK" who worked front desk was extremely inflexible. We attempted to switch to a nonsmoking room due to booked smoking in error. He stated hotel policy that he is unable to switch us to another room due to us booking with a third party. (Hotels.com)
We stared that the room was extremely smoky and very hard to breathe in addition the refrigerator was not working, thus resulting in food going bad.

MK did offer to come to the room to take a look at the refrigerator and stated it thermostat was set on low, but still was unyielding in switching the room.

I pointed out all the issues the room had and that I am a Choice rewards member and never received poor service from any property prior to this. Again, he still did not offer to accommodate our request to swap.

Mind you, there's literally 5 vehicles on the property as we speak and we checked in 4 hours ago.

I am disgusted with the poor service we received at EconoLodge.

A quick weekend stay at Luray Caverns was unfortunately overshadowed by such horrible customer service.

If I could give rating of zero, I would. Do not waste you money or time here. You are better off staying in your car.
