One of our favorite stops! We had so much fun feeding the prairie dogs, loved watching and listening to them eat peanuts. Definitely do this as you head into or out of the Badlands!

Honesty didn't love it. My daughters (7 & 10), as well as my husband, felt the same. It didn't have that same overwhelming, awe inspiring feeling as Mt Rushmore.

It was a very interesting stop, loved the history. Both my girls (7 & 10) enjoyed reading/hearing about the history there.
