Easy stop off of 287 passing through Texas. Very clean bathroom and laundry facilities. Sites are gravel but clean and nice pull-throughs. Grass between sites and a nice tree between each site. Decent pavilion and well maintained all around.

Will stay again, very convenient and clean for a quick stop.

Not really a destination so didn’t give it 5 stars.

Well maintained, very clean little park on a lake. Not a whole lot going on here, but if you are passing through or need to stay near Laurel or somewhere nearby this is a nice option. Very quiet, as there are only 20 RV sites I believe. Bath house seemed decent, definitely a typical state park type place.

No WiFi, decent ATT signal.

Paid $450/month

Would stay again.

Great State park near Memphis. This is a beautiful natural setting. 36 holes of disc golf, a beautiful lake, nice hiking trails, and great sites. Our site is in a small loop off the larger loop. Every site has a good bit of space with a picnic table, a fire pit and a charcoal grill. Water and 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups, no sewer hookups, though. There is a dump station on the way out. The facilities are a little outdated, but everything is functional and clean. The woods and scenery are nice and weekdays were very quiet. We enjoyed our time and would stay here again.

Lots of very nice bicycle paths through the park. Can ride bikes or a longish walk to beach from most campsites. Good parking and great pavilion with concession style food and even daiquiris on the beach. Bath houses were very clean and large. Full hookups at all the sites makes for a very nice stay!

Sites are paved with large paved area for picnic table. There are large pull through sites and back in sites. Many loops of camping. Check map to make sure you’re not too near main entrance, this is a large park and there is a lot of traffic in and out.

Very nice pool and splash pad area. Nice camp store has a lot of essentials and things you would want at the beach. 24 hour ice machines that take a credit card we’re nice. We enjoyed our stay and will be back often. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the camping is not on the beach. You are across the highway and must ride a bike or drive over to beach. All in all very nice park, though!
