Some of the best beach Oregon offers. It is easy to miss the small enterance on the windy road and well worth the short, steep hike down the bluff to the beach. Hug Point has beautiful, clean beaches seperated by towering sandstone cliffs. A small 10 foot waterfall flows next to a series of ocean caves. It is best to visit at low tide so you can walk around the bluffs and visit adjoining beaches, tide pools and caves.
One of the more missed spots by tourists. If you go far enough along the beach north you will see the waterfall. It's hidden from view from the turnout.
A tonne of interesting rock formations along the coast here. Be sure to check out the wikipedia page for some history about were the name comes from.
Semi secluded, well kept, beautiful caves, rock walls and waterfalls, sea life everywhere and even a trail leading to the next beach over! I've never seen a better beach!!
