The lake is beautiful and they have a few triathlons here during the summer. The hiking is really nice as well and certainly family friendly.
SO gorgeous. And that wishing well is crystal clear. It doesn't look 6 feet deep at all. The pictures i have from this trip are some of my very favorites.
You can't get on the property (as far as i know) but when you drive slowly by you can easily see how huge and creepy this place is. If you're in the area, might as well drive by.
I friend of mine lives there! They have newly renovated apartments. It's absolutely gorgeous and enchanting. There's also a very large castle on the back lot of the property.

My parents use to take my brothers and I to Storyland when we were small. We must have visited just before it was closed. It was one of our most favorite places to go! If you can still go there and check it out, I'd highly suggest you do so :D
