This is the definition of "secret waterfall" hardly anyone knows about it. It is a town secret that needs more publicity! Ludlowville falls is huge and very tall and a huge cave sits behind it which is easily accessible to stand behind the falls! Worth the wandering to find it try this address if you're using a GPS! Try 20 Mill St. Lansing NY or 171 Salmon Creek Rd Lansing NY. They're both the same place but for some reason the GPS messes it up a little. You'll see a little parking lot, playground and a sign!

Shequaga Falls is great! It's not hard to find at all mostly because it sits in the middle of the town, Montour Falls. It's only a 50 foot walk from your car and the falls is right next to two houses. It's a strange location which only makes the whole experience great! Worth it!!

This waterfall is a bit of a secret, but it shouldn't be! Pictures don't do justice for this impressive falls. You'll most likely be alone there and the hike is very easy considering it is in a park. Don't miss the chance to see this one! It is not the biggest, but it is incredible!

The maps and signs are not the clearest. Before you begin walking make sure you're on the right end of the trails (I believe that moderate trail and quickest is the southern or bottom parking lot). My family made the mistake by beginning our hike from the camping parking lot! BIG MISTAKE! We walked over 2 miles on a very difficult trail and left us completely exhausted two hours later when we made it to the falls. The falls were utterly beautiful, but by using the wrong trail almost made it not worth it. The hike is beautiful and be sure to climb the staircase mountain by the waterfall, you'll be on top of the world and above all the other mountains. Be sure of what trail you're on before you begin and you'll have the best experience ever!!

My favorite waterfall! Worth the walk on the bottom trail beneath the falls! The river is usually a little low and you can walk along the stone river bank and skip rocks. Don't pass up the chance to see this!
