We were so pleasantly surprised by this little place. The couple that runs the place was so welcoming and friendly, we immediately felt right at home. The rooms are nice and cozy, and each has a nice little patio with views. It's a short walk down to the little river. It's also just a short walk up to a decent steakhouse (the environment wasn't stellar but the views and delicious food made up for it). The wine bar just a few steps from the rooms was great with live music on weekend nights! We will absolutely choose this place the next time we make it this way, and highly recommend it.
Absolutely gorgeous views in late May! A nice easy hike for some very prime photo opportunities. Beware soul-sucking squirrels... It was wonderful to feel the mist! The only drawback was that it felt overcrowded, hard to get pictures of the lower areas without people walking into your shots. Worth the drive and short hike.
