Unlike a previous reviewer, we were fortunate enough to go near the end of the day when there was almost no line to drive through the tree. I thought 5 bucks was certainly reasonable for the fun experience.
Stunning gardens, worth visiting whether you love botanical gardens (as I do) or you just appreciate a good trail through nature. They have both paved paths and dirt paths that are steeper and narrower.
We visited in mid-July when the dahlias were in full bloom.
There is a small cafe (Rhoady's) in the gardens that is good for a quick bite of food. We got the smoothie and the gyro (special only on Fridays).
