We stayed 9/10/2019. Our GPS coordinates were 43.801667, -114.421167

Awesome free boondocking spot right near the river with good cell coverage. Dump ($5) and potable water really close on FR-146, back towards the Visitor Center.

FR-146 can be tough especially after it rains. About 1/4 mile after the visitor center it becomes a washboard road with large potholes and small buried rocks sticking up. All is manageable if you go slow.

This is a popular spot so it might be challenging to get a site. We unhooked at the North Fork Visitor Center at the Sawtooth National Recreation Area Headquarters to scope it out.

We stayed here 10/29/2019. We unhooked our Jeep at Peter Skene Ogden State Park in Terrebonne, OR and then took the Jeep to scout a spot. If you have a larger rig like us (37' Class A) I would recommend the same thing as there was only one spot we felt comfortable getting into. It was a nice back-in spot a little from the road and not too far from the canyon

As others have said this area has the potential to be a great area if people would pick up after themselves. Our spot didn’t have any trash but as we explored we found an abandoned mattress, lots of broken glass and trash, and half burned cushions in other areas.

We didn't let this deter us from staying three nights and we would stay here again. The sunset over the canyon with the mountains behind it was amazing!

Basically $20 gets you 1-3 nights (all same price) of camping in their RV parking lot. It's not very big and unlevel, but it did the job and we had no complaints. If you park by the blue and white "RV Parking" sign and trash can, it's not hard to get level. The other spots it might be more difficult as they have more slope. There was only two other campers there while we were there for three days in Feb. It's quiet with a view through the trees of the ocean and sunset. Bonus: water spigots you can use to fill if you need to, but no other services besides a trash can. <5 min walk to the casino. Easy in and out as long as you approach from the exit that is north of the casino (the exit south is narrow and unpaved in sections, plus has major dips and holes). Generator quiet time is 10pm-8am. There was a guest wifi for the RV lot that you can get the password from casino when you check in (enough to do basic internet stuff just fine). We were able to get 4G (no LTE) AT&T with our Weboost about 3-4 bars, 1Mbps.

We parked along the back (south) of the parking lot of the hotel (a Holiday Inn Express attached to the casino).
Quiet, clean and level, no services. However, it's free and they didn't seem concerned with how long we were staying. No paperwork or player's club sigin up required. Stayed in Feb when it was pretty dead, only about 5-10 other cars in the parking lot the entire time. There is no AT&T cell service, but Verizon works OK. We were able to use our Nanostation Loco M2 to pick up internet from the hotel (SSID: IHG Connect) too - nothing fast but were able to web browse. Restaurant was closed in the casino for the winter probably but the bar was open 4-8pm, $2 wine and other drink specials. We also filled up at the nearby gas station which is an easy in out for even large rigs and best price we saw in Klamath and nearby towns. Just minutes to beach access, hiking, and places like Trees of Mystery. You can hear some freeway noise, but there is so little traffic it's a non-issue.

We stayed using Passport America for two days, and had such a good time we added a third night. Slightly steep in and out, but we didn't scrape. Our spot was grassy and double wide, with a full length view of river out the right side window. Weather was sunny and low 60s there during the day in late Feb, in the 40s at night. Full hookups, some very basic wifi that would work for email and web browsing, but no streaming. We could get US Cellular (on our AT&T modem) 4G LTE 1 bar without booster, 3 with, but no Verizon. We did not use the showers or laundry so cannot comment on those. The people who worked there put on a nightly fire at 6:30pm and we hung out with them all three nights. Great conversation and they even brought my girlfriend cupcakes for her birthday on the last night of our stay! They were constantly working on improvements for the place during the day and the hard work shows. Just minutes from Redwood Casino / Klamath to the south and some of the Redwood touristy stuff was close by to the north (i.e. Trees of Mystery).

We really enjoyed our month stay at Crown Villa RV Resort. The monthly rate in November was a good deal. Our spot was close to the office which had a basic gym and steam room that we used and near the hot tub which we loved. We enjoyed the free coffee and hot tea in the lounge and popcorn in the office.

The large brick pads are really nice as you don't feel so close to your neighbor. There is also a small storage shed at the end of your brick pad which was nice to store stuff our ladder, chairs and hose.

You had both trash and recycling at our site. You just put it out when you wanted it picked up. That was super convenient.

If you stay in November be prepared for freezing temperatures and even snow.

We stayed here on 10/7/2019. It is primitive camping with no hookups, but the price ($7/day) couldn’t be beat to pretty much have the place to ourselves.

As mentioned before the sites for larger rigs are to the left as you enter the park. It is fairly easy in and out but we wouldn't recommend a rig much larger than us (37' class A) since there is no loop to turn around. We had to unhook our Jeep so we could turn around.

It rained the entire time we were there but it is a magical forest feeling since many of the tress are covered in moss.

We stayed here 10/28/2019.

As the other reviewers have said the views of Mount Hood are amazing! The parking lot was at a greater slope than I expected even after reading the reviews. We typically do not have to use leveling blocks but we had to on the front tires and jacks.

We were originally going to stay two nights but the winds were so intense that we had to bring in all our pop-out slides for the night. The wind was loud all night, and the wind chill was no joke. 17 degrees felt like 6 degrees at 8 am.

We would definitely stay here again just not at the end of October.
