Just about the only place to eat in the vicinity of where we were staying, so we decided to check it out for lunch. We came in with a relatively large group (seven people) which they seemed to be overwhelmed by. They were definitely disorganised, but the restaurant did have a small town charm to it. Alright food, but not amazing.
Definitely not a place I'd spend more than an hour at, but it was a nice stop off on our way down to Kentucky. The cave was pretty cool, but lots of graffiti on the walls. Great views of the Ohio river and a nice little beach to walk along.
Although originally put off by the sight of a confederate flag bumper sticker in the parking lot, we were pleasantly surprised by this sleepy little restaurant. The locals obviously love it, and despite a small selection the food is absolutely fantastic. Definitely a must try if you're making your way through Fairfield.
