We took the 240 scenic loop off of 90. Amazing views from the many viewpoints, and plenty bathrooms available for those traveling with young children. We could have spent much more time there than we did.

It was a quick stop just off 90. The kids liked seeing it and having their picture taken.
We stumbled on this treasure in search of a bathroom for our kids. It was located right on 40. They have an amazing collection of artifacts from Fort Wallace and the tour guide was enthusiastic and welcoming. She even walked us through an air conditioned historic indoor historic "town" that they are in the process of building (completion July 2017). They have shaded picnic areas, and 4 other historic buildings that we didn't have time to walk through. All this was available for FREE.
A great place to stop along U.S.-40.
