Central location for exploring Bend. We were in 67C which was a full sun site. The mornings are beautiful and cool. The only disappointment for us in regards to Tumalo, is that at the campground, there are few areas to actually access the river. There is a lovely park across the road with a few access areas. The showers and bathrooms at this park were the best! Good job Oregon State Parks! We wouldn't stay here again only because it's very hard to get reservations.

Super easy access from I-5. Some reviewers have mentioned the freeway noise, however, it was not too distracting. After a day of driving, this stop was a nice place to stop and stretch our legs before grabbing some sleep. Clean showers and bathrooms.

Tried and tried to get more than one night but alas, it wasn't meant to be. We are happy to have the one night because it is quite lovely here. Walking distance to a nice swimming area, flush toilets, coin showers, and bear boxes. What more could we want? Hope to return.

Go for the waterfall hike...stay for the campground. The hiking was really wonderful. We did the whole 10 fall loop. It was worth the time and energy. The RV loop has electricity and water which was very convenient. Our site was pretty private, but they are all very nice. Lots of kids on bikes and scooters having a wonderful time. Great playground should you happen to bring the kiddos.
