Came here stay the night and rent a wrangler 4x4 (on-site), but they called me 2 days prior to inform me that they will not have the 4x4s available for Grand Teton dirt riding. Disappointing.
The sites are sub standard and don’t allow a tent (with the RV). The bathrooms are filthy and the showers are not pleasant.
Not recommended to stay here, unless you stay in the tiny houses out front.
I liked the showers and the open RV sites. Cool teeter totters and playground things for kids. The lake is nice, but it’s limited access only allows a few points of entry. The RV site was big and allowed the RV and a tent.
As far as the feel of the place, this is a locals paradise. RV culture where everyone knows everyone and the owner opened the tap (beer) for everyone to celebrate his birthday.
Under rated RV site and park. Ample space for a RV and tent. The ladies said that was the best bathroom facilities on the trip. I thought the men’s were just so-so. That said, we arrived late, so we didn’t see much of the park, but when we woke, the heard of bison were making their way across the fields.
Really cool landmark, but the RV camp was just ok. Enough space to pitch a tent and park the RV. A few stores to shop. Nice bison and longhorns across the street. Not enough greenery for me, but there were cool teepees to photograph. Outside of that, the showers were clean with solid water pressure. Watch out for the mosquitos.
