Staff was kind, easy to work with, check in was very good, masks and gloves, nice work! Reservations was also excellent, very kind and helpful over the phone. Main complaint, the bathrooms are just too small and limited giving the number of people and spots, with COVID just too many people to space, distance, use bathrooms and showers. Overall though our space was very nice, woudl have liked to have had a campfire, but besides that very good stop, the views were beautiful, camp site was well spaced, also there is so much space at shore line easy to keep distance and enjoy the nature despite large crowds.
Gorgeous, incredible stop. We only had time to do a few hours here, but we could have easily done a whole day just here. I didn't expect to be so enamored with the natural beauty and scenic landscapes, but I ended up just amazed, what a wondrous and lovely stop!
Wow, just a great stop, if you planning to drive through the whole park for the wildlife, plan 2-3 hours for that. Definitely go up to Mt Coolidge, the views are spectacular. Feed the burros, get some good pics of buffalo, and also try a picnic by the river, it's very scenic and soothing.
This was a good stop, not as breathtaking as Rushmore, but the history of the sculptor and his family is very interesting, and the history museum was very interesting and well thought out. You can also take rocks from the mountain for a donation, which I thought was pretty cool
Wow, Fantastic, wonderful. If you can do the trails that take you up close, definitely do it. Even the small half mile trail isn't long and easy to do on all boardwalk. Get up and close as much as you can as the photos are better up close as well. Just know that much of the ancillary stuff like the park shop and history areas close at 5
The rest stop area is very nice and the view is spectacular. I know its a statue at a rest stop, but the area is very pretty and worth getting out for.
We had some issues here, the room had a bad smell and was very stuff. Space was good and location was good. Breakfast was a bit canned, pretty much all just reheat stuff. Shower was not good

This was an interesting stop to check stuff out, but you can only see things from the outside, so most of what you are doing is outside pictures of buildings. Stop at the raj to get maps, but she definitely gave me the impression tourists aren't super welcome. Personally i think we got better pictures and info at the management university in town.
This was not a great stop, you need to bring water, it's a good 2 miles of walking for not a ton of history, this one was kind of a roadside bust for us
