We loved this! The water is so clean and beautiful. It is well maintained has a sad story that integrates some history into the trip. One of the best waterfalls to take pictures that I have ever been to.

My teenage girl and her friend wish they could go to this college now. It is a beautiful little campus. Any student should be proud.

During the Winter it will form huge icicles. It is really a beautiful site especially after a rain. It is neat to drive behind. Sometimes it is closed to drive under, but it was open as of yesterday when we went by. Great place to take pictures. No walk at all and everyone can enjoy.

It is beautiful. Since I live close I have been often. It is easy for kids to walk since it is all on stairs and pavement. There are several places to stop on the Highlands road to check out the gorge (including Braidal Veil Falls). There is also some picnic areas and cliffside lake.

Extremely packed, limited parking. We believe parking was an after thought to Gatlinburg. During the summer expect to move quicker by foot than car. It offers a lot of activities, restaurants, and bars. I love the magic shop in this town. It is very busy and draws a huge amount of people. Definitely take sunscreen. They have a great aquarium. If you are looking for more kid friendly check out Pigeon Forge right down the road.

I took my 16 year old daughter, her friend, and my 8 year old son with me to this beautiful waterfall. The water is cold, but it is great just to cool off in on a hot day and the mile and a half walk. Most of the walk is easy, cool, and dry. There are a couple places you will cover very low amounts of water. You can take awesome pictures and walk behind the falls. The walk back is three times easier than the walk there so do not get discouraged! Bring a backpack with some water shoes, water, sunscreen, towel and a snack and you will be set!

We passed many day hikers that were coming back from above the falls.

If you love seeing a part of the past this was great. I loved walking through a door to a different time. Make sure you duck or you will hit your head on the doorway. The cabin and all the hidden treasures in the area are great for exploring and it is not that far out of the way. At the time I had my 8 and 16 year old with me and we had no problem exploring.

I enjoyed our trip here despite the huge crowd. I will definitely go back. This walk is strenuous because of the incline, but it offers places to stop along the way to rest. My 8 and 16 year old had no problem getting to the top all though he was a bit unsure of the height once we were there. It offers a terrific 360 view.

Easy to find, easy to access. You can walk all the way down to the falls. I was able to take my 8 year old son down with no problem. After the short walk there are ropes that you can hold on to to get down to the bottom.
