Boudin on the Wharf is a true San Franciscan experience. Sit on the pier with panoramic views of the waterfront and Alcatraz. Watch the artisan bakers, the pioneers of what is today an art, prepare authentic sour-dough bread in all shapes and sizes, from alligators to teddy-bears, using their age-old recipe. The perfect lunch is their famous, not to miss, clam-chowder in a sour-dough 'bowl'. Excellent spot on the pier.
I had a great experience staying at this hotel. It says 3 star, but feels 4 star. The hotel and its amenities provide excellent value for money. The rooms are big, modern and well maintained. The beds are big and comfortable and the bathrooms are bright and clean. It is walking distance to many of New York's best sightseeing spots, including Central Park and the Museum of Natural History. And the views from the 20th floor were spectacular. I will definitely stay here again when I visit New York again.
