My family just returned from a two week roadtrip that included a three night stay at the Mount Rushmore KOA and we have nothing but good things to say about this place ! We had never stayed at a KOA before but because of the location we decided to try it out and we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and there were so many things to do here that we never got to enjoy all of them. We did go on a trail ride ( AMAZING ), Chuck wagon dinner, and enjoyed the all you can eat pancake breakfast.
This campground is so conveniently located: just a few miles from Mt. Rushmore and so many small towns with tons of charm and activities to enjoy. We easily could have stayed a full week and still not had enough time to do everything we wanted !
This Kampground must certainly be the crown jewel for KOA.
