We became full-timerrs four months ago and hesitated going to Jellystone thinking it wouldn’t be the best place for two retired adults and it is arguably the nicest RV park we have ever stayed. We just signed up to be monthly residents starting November one.
We booked 2 weeks and got one of the last full hookups when we arrived. It is a nice park and nice staff. Only one glitch which is easily fixable. When you check in they tell you to select a site and call them to say what you select. We picked the last full hookup available but next day had to make a store run and we only have our 40’ rv so we hadn’t set up a campground. When we returned someone else had taken our space forcing us to a less desirable space without full hookups. This is easily avoidable with some sort of flag or sign (like a hotel do not disturb) stating TAKEN. They could also have a list of taken sites that are kept up at front entry and hand to the new campers. Oh well we will just move on. It is a nice park thought just leave your campground look spoken for!
This is a great place to stop for night or longer stay. Very friendly owners and staff nestled in a beautiful valley high up in the New Mexico mountains.
