Very crowed and the staircase is very narrow. I almost got ran over by a man just charging up the stairs with out looking while I was coming down. But the view was very nice. Interesting Indian paintings on the inside of the tower, but it was not built by Indians. Just was the inspiration for the design of the tower.

This was my favorite view of the South rim. The desert view drive is very nice also.

I was a little underwhelmed with the museum, but it may be because I was tired and it was hot in there. It did have a cool model of the entire canyon and the glass view was spectacular. Very small and crowded. We walked the rim trail from Mather point to the museum with good views.

So beautiful! Very popular spot for sunset so get there early. You can arrive by red route shuttle. The line for the shuttle is long after sunset, but it goes fairly fast.

A little run down, but so much fun. Even my husband had a good time. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting. If you grew up watching this cartoon, definitely stop on the way to the Grand Canyon.

My son had a blast spray painting these cars. Great stop to stretch legs and see iconic Route 66 stop. We did not bring paint, but there were several left and saw plenty of people pass on their cans to those arriving. It was fun.
