The sites here are not very accessible. Next time we would skip this and check out the Grandma’s campground down the road.
Beautiful campsites, but not the most ideal if you’re larger than 26 foot as they are a little right and the hookup locations are not well placed. We stayed here during our planned visit to Baxter State Park and found it close to the park and easy to find. Nice peaceful campground. If you’re planning to visit the park, be sure to read all the park rules carefully (no pets)!
Bentley’s wasn’t our original plan, but it came highly recommended and we are so glad we checked it out! The location is very accessible to local day trips and the Saloon is worth the visit. All the campsites are spacious with great hookups. We visited right at the end of the season, so it wasn’t very busy. Can’t wait to go back and check it out in the summer months!
Very helpful and friendly owners. Large (100ft pull thru!), well maintained campsites and scenic walking trails. Pet friendly! We would absolutely stay here again - a hidden gem!
We honestly didn't know what to expect, and were a little apprehensive when our route seemed to be taking is to nowhere - but this place as GREAT! The owners are friendly and helpful, the views are amazing and it is so peaceful. We felt like a local friend within minutes. Would absolutely go back!
Friendly staff and reasonable rates. The campground is also the entrance to a public park and beach, so there is a lot of traffic and no one takes note of any form of speed limit. Having the public zooming past your campsite constantly is not ideal. If booking online, don't put much trust in the site descriptions as they do not seem to be accurate in regard to length. Pets are welcome, though not allowed on the beach.
