Moved into Pine Cove with the previous owners. Had a truly amazing time, met forever friends, became part of the community immediately. Next year, Ryan and Miles purchased the campground and hired Paul, as manager who made up his own rules. For months, ALL campers complained, petitions made, meetings had with Ryan, no change. Complainers were hurt. What was a family fun safe environment turned into a gastapo, marxist regime. Employers and contract workers were not paid, no one knew how to pay their rent, manager pockets money, when renters that have been there for decades moved away, manager sells their decks and storage units, of course pockets the money. The fun festivities for kids and adults were no longer had, at least not easily. Many of them turned to their own camp sites instead of the nice community building. Music, games, food trucks, festivities, camp ground games, no longer the good ones. Everything is up for volunteers to put together, only with the managers approval. And all the while pleading with the owners, Ryan and Miles to help. They say yes we can, manager says no. Answer stays a no. All the employees that have worked there for decades are now all gone to other campground locations, even though the management lies and says we want to be with our children at our permanent home. No. We have all moved to other camp communities! Any camp ground owned and operated by Ryan and Miles, aka Treeside CRE Managment and may be under other names. Please look for them. When you find them, stay away!!! Please!!!! And it's not just camp grounds they are trying to purchase more campgrounds and have a few already including storage areas. As a newer camper, my husband and I want a camping home in a safe, fun, relaxing place we can enjoy. This is NOT the place!!!!!! Sad as it used to be. People who have been there for years and years are leaving to other campgrounds. Who remains are people who rarely frequent their campers and people who "clicked into a junior high mentality". What I mean is, and it's really sad to explain. There are now groups. If you don't belong to the managers tiny group, 5 camper couples, the other 105 don't go to an event or even swim in the pool when they are around. Pins and Needles is what is described. I'm sorry, I graduated Jr. High several decades ago. I'm too old to deal with gossip and finger pointing. PLEASE DO NOT CAMP THERE! YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF QUICKLY REGRETING IT!!!! We campers are a great community of help and friendship, no matter where you come from, no matter who you are. We stick together! As a campers code, do NOT camp here!
