The museum is pretty small but totally worth the trip. Boots (the museum curator and the son of one of the police officers in the incident) will sit you down for a movie to watch ...it gives you the background of Bonnie and Clyde and then you can explore the museum...Boots loves talking about the incident and is a charming fellow ...his enthusiasm alone makes the trip worth it. Bonnie and Clyde are the Romeo and Juliette of The Great Depression...Clyde even tried protecting Bonnie from being shot.

Be careful of snakes! And pay attention to advisories. Parts of the lake get closed down during certain periods of the year due to snake infestations/breeding. One day when we were out on the water I literally saw 4 different snakes. :0/ There is also a spillway opened to the public and when it's open, it's pretty neat to watch how powerful the water is. When the spillway is closed, there are always people fishing and kayaking down in the creek/river.

This was pretty cool to go and see! I went with my in-laws and we had a bunch of fun. You DO have to take a guided tour in able to go down into the caverns...and that did get a little boring..but when we were returning back to the surface we ended up getting a little ahead of the tour guide and we were able to take a few more pictures and poke around a little bit :] They even offer "spelunking" lol and will let you take a tour and go crawling through some of the cavern.

This was a beautiful hike! We hiked to the top of Enchanted Rock. It DID get steep towards the top so be careful! There were rock wall climbers coming up the backside when we had reached it! There are is or at least was camp sites behind Enchanted Rock with a bunch of trails!
