We just came over this road from Victor/Cripple Creek in the West. The road was very good until we got closer to Colorado Springs where it got very rough and would be nearly impassible with a lower clearance vehicle. I was driving my Nissan Frontier Pickup and bottomed out on one section. The road looks like is has had no maintenance for years with deep ruts and pockets. Please be aware!
