We were staying at the Hampton Inn across the street. We were very blessed we selected Buckley's for supper. We searched the web and they were highly recommended. We were not very hungry so we ordered their salads and were they yummy and fresh, wow! Nice sized too. Our waitress was excellent and the manager spent time visiting with us as we were leaving. Very personable and customer focused. One hint, we had a hard time finding the entrance, as you look at the restaurant, the doorway is on the left, sorta tucked in. The windows are all dark, do not let that fool you from the outside, reason is, the decor and painting inside cover where the windows are. Very nice inside and clean.

We highly recommend this hotel. We were in the area to visit The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! We found the motel to be very clean and our room including the bathroom was very clean. However, they do need to install brighter light fixtures in the bathrooms. We encountered no odor from the pool or elsewhere. Pool and pool area very clean. They are pet friendly which was a plus for us, there is a small fee for pets which is reasonable compared to some motels and we were not given a pet only room or if we were you sure could not tell a pet had been there, no odor. We just became Hilton Honors members so we had not trouble with the Internet service. We met Verla before we even entered the motel; she was arriving for work at the front desk. She instantly seemed like family as she welcomed us, taking the time to find out where we were from and where we were headed and the name of our doxie. She took excellent care of us throughout our stay. We always looked forward to seeing her smile when we walked up to the desk. Hunter checked us in and was able to keep us in the same room. He made sure we knew he was happy we were staying at the Hampton. Originally when we made reservations they were almost full and we were going to have to change rooms during our stay. We also met Tina who was very helpful with any questions we had, even thought they seemed to always be busy at the desk with check in and phone calls. The breakfast was tasty and the staff kept it well stocked. We missed our nightly visits to the front desk for their freshly baked warm cookies once we checked out. Our stay here was an added bonus to our trip. Thanks to Verla, Hunter, Tina and the Hampton Staff.
