Cute little motel with lots of personality! Rooms are simple and reasonably priced, within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, coffee, antiques stores, museums, and galleries. I think I got their last available room when I checked in around 7pm, and housekeeping was just finishing up cleaning it. The tub could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly, and the bed smelled like cleaning supplies, so I think there had been some kind of "incident" with the previous tenant. While that was definitely unpleasant, I'd totally give the place a second chance. A couple guests in other rooms said they didn't have the same issues, so I think my room was not up to their usual standards. Another positive note: there's a cool second-floor patio area with porch swings and a great view. Ultimately, I'd totally stay again.
