This was a nice KOA with full hookups. Pool, playground, cabins, and even teepee for the kids. Nice well maintained dog area, trails. Would like to stay longer and enjoy the area a bit more. One thing to note is that the ingress and egress are both steep.

The sites are kind of small but all paved with fire rings and ours had 30 amp service but no water or sewer. Full hook-up sites are available. Perfect location for group camping and lake beach access. Shade pretty much every site. Kids look like they're having fun. Lots of tent camping also.

Boat ramp access and some camp sites have access to launch info from campsite.

Disc golf course, bridge trails, mountain bike trails and snowmobile trails.

Overall this is a nice Florida State Park. Some of the amenities are in need of either replacement or at least repair. That being said there's a newly renovated pavilion on the Suwanee River, and the canoe launch was under replacement while we were there. There is an updated playground for the kiddos.

The campsite was nice, even after a rough start with a limb hanging over the site, and the electrical not working without some intervention. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not many. And there was no camp host at that park, although the camp host from another park was very helpful.

The museum is a step back in time, especially given its design and dedication prior to the Civil Rights Act. You need to be sure to put it into perspective, some people could be offended. There aren't many signs, so use your best judgment when entering and follow the loop until you see the campground sign. The park is only accessible from US 41.

This campground is a great overnight spot, close to the highway and inexpensive. The spots are roomy with asphalt with a concrete picnic table. Our 35' trailer and truck fit fine. If you're a disabled vet you get a 50% discount.
Great lake view. One caveat, I-75 bridge is very close so the highway noise is loud, but if you're just looking for a place to park for the night it's fine. There are a few pull through spots but you have to reserve them pretty far ahead of your trip.

Google Maps isn't great at getting you there. Recommend using Exit 283 - much easier access.
