This RV Resort is just about everything you want an RV Resort to be. While there are a couple of things that would make it perfection, what it has is first rate. Yes, it is pricier than most RV parks, but if you want an immaculate, beautiful, well-designed, RV Resort with excellent staff, it is well worth it. Sites are asphalt with a nice grassy buffer and picnic table. Pull-thru sites are easy in and out. Large, beautifully maintained grassy common areas with fire pits and pavilions make it feel like a wonderful little community. The club house includes a meeting room, small fitness center and beautiful pool with cabanas. The dog park in the middle of the resort has a smaller and larger side to accommodate different size breeds. Trash is picked up at your site AND they take recycling (other than glass) - something we wish all RV parks would do, but find rarely. The staff is very friendly and professional - when we originally booked, we had to book a different site for one of our nights. The staff proactively searched for cancellations to allow us to stay in our site and contacted us when they found one. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would absolutely stay again!

If you are visiting the beautiful Brown County State Park and looking for a quiet, full hookup spot to stay, this is a good option. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for us. The park is well-maintained with good facilities, pretty landscaping and nice deluxe patio sites. They are expanding and improving the park with more to come. We really enjoyed our roomier, shady site in the newer the upper level area. We needed to level our trailer, but it wasn't onerous. Not all sites are 50 AMP (some are 30), so check the site before booking or chat with the staff to find the best site for you. There is a great "nature walk" that offers lots of sniffs for the pups and recycling is on site (an unfortunate rarity in campgrounds). The staff couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

The staff at this KOA are gems and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The park itself is small, but has a nice pool area and two pretty ponds to enjoy. Access is easy and although convenient to the highway, is very quiet. Only issue is that many of the sites are difficult to access as positioned (and there is a lower level that is fairly steep to get to). Most sites are also somewhat unlevel, but ours was manageable. The "A" sites facing the larger pond are best (we stayed in that section previously). We camped at Paducah / I-24 / Kentucky Lake KOA Journey in a Travel Trailer.

This is a relatively small park, but if you can get a spot, it is worth the serenity it offers. Class A spots on the river are the prime spots. "River view" spots in the back row will not really give you a view of the river from your site, but don't let this discourage you (there are common areas to view the river). The sites are fairly close, but the wonderful landscaping between and around each site provides privacy and a personal lovely little shaded grassy area. Staff is professional and attentive to the cleanliness and beauty of this park. We even received a call prior to check in to ask if we were eligible for any discounts before being charged for our stay - who does that?! The park has a cute little playground for the kids, a clubhouse, spotless facilities, and a great pool overlooking the river. If you have a pet, there is no dog walk/run area, however walks around the park and surrounding residential area suffice. Lots of things to do in town as well as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This park is our latest entry on our "favorites" list!

We stayed in a premium patio site at this campground which had a nice privacy fence on one side and ample cement patio with a small grill and wrought iron patio furniture. It is nicely shaded in most sites and quiet despite being not far from the highway. Shopping for groceries, etc. Is about 10 min away. This is a former KOA campground, so you'll expect it to have a layout (a mix of paved (super premium) and gravel RV sites, cabins and tent sites) and amenities of other adorned KOAs. Among other things, it has a pool, jump pad and playground for the kids, small store, kid "race track", gem panning, etc. The best and most fun thing about this park are the friendly resident donkeys and goats, which we and our pup enjoyed visiting each day!

An older park that offers a fine place to park for a bit. Park is quiet and sites are shady. There are very few deluxe / patio sites. Sites are not paved, so with heavy rain some will be virtually under water, while others fare better. Mostly sand, so be prepared for ants outside. We did not use the bathrooms, but the laundry facilities were acceptable. Cable was great, cell reception (Verizon and AT&T) was very spotty. Folks in the office were very receptive and helpful. Bottom line - I wouldn't shy away from this park if it's convenient to where you want to be for a short time, just ask for the best site you can get.

We stayed at the end of November to mountain bike the White Mountain trails. At this time of the year, the park is very quiet - mostly occupied by full-time residents, many of whom had winterized and stored their RVs for the winter. We were assigned one of their short-term spots ("A, B, & C") by the office, but were reassigned prior to arrival to site #9. All of the sites are decent and fairly roomy.

Positives: (1) Location - very convenient to town and within walking distance of the beautiful Show Low City Park (if you have a dog, you MUST visit the dog parks there), (2) Very quiet and peaceful, (3) Extremely clean - the park is very well maintained. We did not use the bathrooms, but the laundry room was one of the nicest we've seen in almost 100 parks, (4) Very pleasant camp hosts.

Considerations: (1) If you stay this time of year, the office is only open for part of the day. However, camp hosts are very responsive by phone or text, (2) Avoid sending packages or mail to this park as delivery services in Show Low are hit or miss (personal experience), (3) The park no longer has cable and your antenna will reach 3 channels, at best, (4) Cell service is limited - no T-Mobile and weak AT&T and Verizon without a booster. With a booster, we were able to use Verizon for calls, video calls and some streaming.

Overall, we enjoyed our time here!

The first review listed here describes this campground well. The sites are nicely accommodating and we enjoyed a peaceful stay here for four nights. The campground caters to travelers vs seasonal campers, unlike most others in the area. We use all of the major cell providers and connectivity for all (Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile) were all excellent. The Campground Wifi at our site was uncommonly strong and reliable (I did not use for streaming).

What really differentiates this campground is the owners - Karen and Todd are the friendliest hosts we have met in our many stays at campgrounds around the country! They are very attentive to their property and it's guests. You'll feel welcomed throughout your stay.

This is a beautiful suburban park! Fourteen full hook-up RV sites are at the entrance to the park between a lovely pond (sites #1 and #2 back in to overlook the pond) and the Luce Line State Recreational Trail. Additional electric and water-only RV and tent sites are located near the entrance with views of the Crow River. A dump is on site.

We had not planned to stay here, but booked an overnight after moving on from our prior location due to severe storms. It was so lovely and peaceful, we booked two additional nights. The grounds are well taken care of and reason enough to spend a night (or three). You can enjoy simply exploring the park, kayaking on the river, or walking / biking the Luce Line Trail (don't miss the wildlife sanctuary within walking distance along the Trail). Town is only 10 minutes away for resupplying anything you need.

Reservations can easily be booked online. There is no camp office or host at the campground, so just hang onto your confirmation email in case you are asked for it. While it may not be a destination for a week, this is going on our list as a favorite as a wonderful location to just decompress for a few days!

This park deserves more credit than it has gotten. There may be areas of the park that are more un-level than others - it is in the (stunningly beautiful) mountains surrounding Missoula and they are very upfront about which sites are more or less level (ours didn't even need leveling blocks). If having to use leveling blocks is a concern, the nice staff in the office will be more than happy to help you find the best site.

This park is also more pricey than most, however it is comparable to the other two parks around Missoula. It's a reasonable price for being one of few in a gorgeous part of our country with a cool town nearby that has lots to do. Missoula is a quick drive and is worth exploring.

The park itself has a store, nice pool / hot tub and playground, outdoor game areas, and dog park. One of the unique features we appreciated was the enormous pretty meadow area with mowed paths for walking. They even have an "off leash" zone for letting well-behaved pups expend some energy.

Our site was level side to side, roomy, and quiet with a wonderful view of the hills. No cable, but the park wifi was excellent and cell coverage was very good. The laundry is $5 total for washing and drying (pay $5 at the washer by credit card and the dryers are free). The staff couldn't have been nicer - even proactively offering suggestions on the mountain biking trails for us. We would absolutely return and happily spend a little more of our budget to stay here.
