We stayed for 2 nights here. There are a lot of seasonal campers here. You could feel like an outsider if you are the in and out type of traveler. Facilities are clean and well maintained. They have shuttle service to the Acadia Park Bus system but the hours of the shuttle limit the time in the park, we personally didn't account for this when planning our trip.
Hospitality is five star! Great owners. This location is within walking distance to the beach which is where we spend most of our time. The bathroom facilities are clean and well maintained. Showers are pay as you go. Our 4 star rating is personal preference due to wishing there was more foliage the site felt kinda like just a parking lot.
This campground was great for my kids. They loved the pool and playground. For myself I was less thrilled. It is a very loved campground. At lot of seasonal campers. Not as well maintained as I would have liked. No laundry facilities and the bathrooms were not as clean as I'd prefer. I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower in their facilities.
Loved this campground! We were in a 2 week road trip and stayed at many different campgrounds, this was by far our favorite. Very clean, very well managed, great amenities. Will definitely be going back.
