I believe this property was once known as the Harvard Hotel, although I could be mistaken.
Cindy’s Family Cafe has been closed for a few years.
Starting to need updates and reconditioning, the HIE&S @ Mineral Wells also has smaller rooms than newer properties in this chain. The A/C is struggling to keep up with the extreme heat this year, and so the carpet is developing a certain funky smell. Staff is well trained, friendly and accommodating. But the contract forms are out of date and warn of $250 fine for dogs when they are clearly allowed with a $25 fee.
Concordia has a nice, basic dog park. This is across the highway from Walmart. So there’s something for everyone there in Concordia.
After a long journey our rest at these rustic cabins was much appreciated. The units are quiet, provisioned with modern accoutrements and the host is amiable and helpful. I can imagine a time when these Cabins were far away from the bustle of Hot Springs. I give a high rating because this business lives up to the advertisements very well.
Well kept; units for pets are in good shape. Staff are very nice. Good bed. I like this spot
