Not a bad motel. It used to be a Ramada Inn. The rooms are nicely decorated, but you can tell that housekeeping cuts corners. The bathroom floor grout could use a really good scrub, the corners of the bathroom could be cleaned better and the underside of the shower join could be wiped better. I felt safe and slept decent. I could tell it was time a couple of the pillows were retired. The breakfast was not a real continental breakfast. There were 4 kinds of cereal, milk, orange juice, sausage gravy, biscuits, bagels but no cream cheese, chocolate donuts, bread for toast, coffee, and the tease of making waffles (apparently only served every other morning). There were no fruits, yogurt, oatmeal, danishes, cinnamon rolls, or muffins. But there was a staff member seated at the bar keeping watch.. The breakfast really was one of the strangest and saddest eating experiences I've ever had… but it was enough to give us a start to the day. Just be aware of what people mean when they say the breakfast sucks. The staff was quite friendly. Otherwise it wasn't a bad place to stay and I would actually stay again.

I love this place, not only for the scale of art and awe, but also because in the surrounding area you also have a lovely rose garden as well as roses in various places, and a nice playground for the kids to run as well as a huge field. Great place to stop on the way through town!
