The sculpture is in a plaza surrounded by food trucks and carts and lots of people especially during lunch time.

I didn't go to the museum, just had time to check out the murals around town (there are way more than you would expect for a town this size) and the giant one here was pretty amazing.

Very nice photo op, if you are following Route 66 you will easily find it. Easy parking- you can just pull off the road and park on gravel.
