This is a great place to visit if you want to walk through a historic town where there doors are open, the staff are in period clothing, and the drinks include sasparilla. If you can handle a lot of steps, the Carissa mine tour is a must see.
Entry is inexpensive and the money is used to keep this towns history alive for the public.
