We stayed one night in July 2016. Beautiful campground! The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a creek that runs by the grounds and was actually right behind our site (site 15). We will definitely stop there again next time we pass through northern Idaho!
We stayed one night in July 2016. Awesome campground. Beautiful landscapes! Small and private. Bathrooms are clean and there is a pump on the grounds for fresh water. We did some hiking around the grounds and saw several deer, including fawns! It did get very cold overnight (in the mid 30s) and snowed in the morning, but what else can be expected at almost 9000 ft. Will definitely come back next time we're in WY!
We stayed in July 2016. Awesome campground! Get there early if you want a good spot, it fills up VERY fast and there are only a few picnic tables available. Definitely worth the drive! We didn't see any bison, but we did see a big horn sheep and tons of prairie dogs! Also, coyotes howl as soon as the sun goes down. Beautiful sunrise. We will definitely return next time we're in SD!!
